June 18-19, 2010: Warren Long, former Taiso gymnast, was inducted into theSask Sorts Hall of Fame for his contributions to gymnastics as an athlete. Also inducted was Keith Russell, founder of Taiso Gymnastics Club. Keith Russell was honoured as a "builder" in the sport of gymnastics. To celebrate, the Sask Sports Hall of Fame and Museum held "The 16th Annual Celebrity Golf Classic" on Friday, June 18 as well as an "Hall of Fame Induction Dinner" on Saturday, June 19 in Regina.
June 6, 2010: Taiso hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony and Year-End Family BBQ and Potluck. Congratulations to all of our athletes for their achievements!!
May 24 - May 30, 2010 Congratulations to the following Taiso athletes who attended the 2010 Canadian Championships in Kamloops, BC. Competing in the National Youth level were Teague King, Tyler Montgomery, Wyatt Tyndall, Nicolas Hallgrimson, and Keith Boyle. Curtis Graves competed at the Junior level while Jayd Lukenchuk and Anderson Loran competed at the Senior Level. Special congratulations to Teague King for placing 5th on Pommel, 6th on Rings and 7th AA; to Tyler Montgomery for placing 8th on Pbars and 21st AA; to Curtis Graves for placing 1st on Hbar and 11th AA; and to Jayd Lukenchuk for placing 2nd on Vault, 7th on Floor, 4th on Hbar, and 5th AA. Congratulations also to Team Sask for placing 3rd for the National Youth Team Award.

FEBRUARY 27-28, 2010: Three of TAISO's athletes traveled with their coach, Markos Baikas, to Gatineau, Quebec to attend Elite Canada 2010. Congratulations to Anderson Loran (Senior), Jayd Lukenchuk (Senior) and Curtis Graves (Junior) for their performances. A special congratulations is extended to Anderson Loran who placed FIRST on Floor. Congratulations, Anderson!
JANUARY 23, 2010: Gymnastics Saskatchewan Men’s Artistic gymnasts attended the Whitlow Invitational gymnastics competition in Florida. The Men’s team of 8 athletes identified for the 2011 Canada Winter Games are in preparation for their team and individual events where they will represent Saskatchewan next February. Athletes from Taiso Gymnastics who attended this international competition were Curtis Graves, Teague King, Wyatt Tyndall, Tyler Montgomery, Keith Boyle, and Nicolas Hallgrimson. The coaches accompanying the boys were Markos Baikas (Head Coach - Taiso Gymnastics), Mark Kurmey (Head Coach - Team Saskatchewan), and Wesley Chirima (QCK Regina). Congratulations to all the boys for their successes.
